My first contact with development was in my elementary school. First contact was HTML and CSS. After that, I tried PHP and JavaScript, but I didn’t like them. I turned to Java OOP and started playing with that. When Android came into play, it was a logical step to switch to it. It was Java, which I was familiar with and it was the new shiny thing. After that, it all clicked into place. For some time, I was focused on Android, but kept my eye on other technologies. I figured that whatever I wanted to build, I needed some backend, so I learned a bit of NodeJS and finally KTOR. It helped me a lot and made my ideas doable. Along the way, I picked up Kotlin, Compose, KMP, KMM and a lot of other stuff.

I made two small libraries for Android and one Android app after constantly being asked for it by my wife and a couple of friends. In that process, I got to see how to publish on Google Play and Maven Central. Not nearly as difficult as I initially thought.

Currently, I’m making LogKitty. It’s like logcat but with a few more options and AI analysis. I added what I needed in logcat and implemented a way of sending log lines directly from the app to AI. It returns an explanation and a solution. It’s working at the time. Now I’m implementing PayPal paywall and polishing it up.

Besides all this, I work at Orion Innovation as a Software engineer. There I had an opportunity to work on the AOSP project and large teams and many other projects.
